Privacy Policy
Last updated: 19 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how NeuralSearch (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our website and services (the “Service”). We take your privacy seriously and want to explain, as clearly as possible, what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have. Please read it carefully.
Who we are
NeuralSearch provides an AI-powered search assistant that helps you find listings — such as homes and vehicles — using plain language, and chat about any listing. This policy applies to our website and all related services. By using the Service, you trust us with your information, and we are committed to protecting it.
Information we collect
We collect information to provide and improve the Service. This includes: (a) information you provide — such as the search queries and messages you send and, if you sign in, account details like your name and email address; and (b) information collected automatically — such as your IP address, browser type and version, device identifiers, the pages you visit, and the date, time, and duration of your visits (“Usage Data”).
Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to run the Service and, with your consent, to analyse how it is used. Strictly necessary cookies keep the site working; analytics cookies are set only after you accept them. You can change your choices at any time via “Cookie settings”. If you refuse non-essential cookies, some features may behave differently.
How we use your information
We use the collected data to: provide and maintain the Service; personalise and improve search and chat; provide customer support; monitor and analyse usage; detect, prevent, and address technical issues and abuse; communicate with you about the Service; and comply with legal obligations. We also use it for any other purpose with your consent.
Legal bases for processing
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland, or a similar jurisdiction, we process your personal data on one or more of these legal bases: your consent; our legitimate interests (such as operating and improving the Service), where not overridden by your rights; the performance of a contract with you; and compliance with our legal obligations.
Analytics and third-party services
We use trusted third-party providers to help us understand and improve the Service. For analytics we use Google Analytics and PostHog; these run only after you consent to analytics cookies, and PostHog is configured to run in a cookieless mode by default. We also rely on cloud hosting and infrastructure providers to operate the Service. These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations. For Google's practices, see https://policies.google.com/privacy.
AI processing of your queries
To answer your searches and questions, your queries and messages may be processed by AI and large-language-model systems and related providers. We use this processing to generate results and responses and to improve the Service. We do not use it to make decisions that produce legal effects concerning you.
Data retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Usage data is generally kept for a shorter period, unless it is needed to strengthen security or improve the Service, or we are legally required to retain it longer.
International data transfers
Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country, where data-protection laws may differ. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we take steps to ensure it remains protected in line with this policy and applicable law, including appropriate safeguards.
Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose it: to service providers who process it on our behalf; to comply with a legal obligation or a valid request from authorities; to protect our rights, property, or safety, or those of our users or the public; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
Security
The security of your data is important to us. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect it. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Children's privacy
The Service is not intended for children under 16 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. You may also withdraw consent at any time. Signed-in users can delete their account and associated data from Settings → Account. To exercise your rights, contact us using the details below; we aim to respond within 30 days and may need to verify your identity.
Links to other websites
The Service may link to third-party websites we do not operate, including original listing sources. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and we recommend reviewing their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date, and where appropriate notify you. Please review it periodically.
